You wouldn’t want to “rekindle” your old relationship anyways, unless you wanted to end up breaking up again.

Hi Scott,
I am asking you this through my friends account because I don’t have a computer yet. I broke up with my ex of 5 months a month ago. before we broke up, he had took my DVD player to his friends shop for him to fix it for me. That was a week before Thanksgiving. I want my DVD player back and he says that he is going to give it back when it’s ready. It’s almost going on two months and I have not gotten it back yet.

I text him asking about it and he never replied. I don’t want to rekindle our relationship as he is showing me how petty he can be. I have not contacted him since last week asking about it. Should I just let him reach out to me about somethng that belongs to me? I am getting pretty upset because all I want is what’s mines.

hi there wahoo its working and im actually looking forward to christmas! i have parties to attend and im the one with ourchildren the first christmas without us being together and he going to be on his own with no family o go to and i gather he will be sat there lonely while im having all the fun fun fun !!!! looking forward to 2010 as a strong independent wommen and a great mum and show him what he could of had withourt breaking the nc !! thank s.w mwah!! maybe when he sat on his own what he is missing and what he lost and what he could of had !! hopefully !!! happy holidaysx

merry christmas !! im just about send my third nc i know its xmas week but i need to do it ! he has told me to move on and donesnt care what i do and who with and that he dont love me and then text me to say he hasnt been and met anyone else why would he say that? my daughter politley told him someone is interested in me and sent me gifts and stuff and then said she couldnt care less he he came back or not im so confused by his reaction and why tell me he hasnt met or been with anyone else and then say he is quite happy for me to make a new start with someone else is this a sign he wants his family back or what , i have takenthe advice and my daughter is no longer texting him or my son!!! im staying strong this xmas and going to have a good time and thank goodness for the blog and will be purchasing the e book , what the hell is he Playing at arghhhhhh, lisa :0) im sure its killing him mentally and emotionally ,

Hi. My BF broke up with me on Dec 6 after almost 6 yrs. We had a terrible fight and he broke things off a month later. Says we could be friends. I sent a version of the no contact msg that basically said i wish him well and that I can’t commit to being just a friend. I had outpatient surgery on monday and he has called or text everyday since friday (until today) to see how i was doing. I told him to take all of his things from my place. He even tried to help me move into my new place this weekend. I am ready to implement the NC rule. How am i doing so far? I screwed up big time the day of the break up.
