The Magic of The No Contact Message

As I mentioned in my previous article “How to Get My Ex Back – The Evolution Begins” the NC message is the most important step of the evolution so let’s not mess it up. I believe that you will be more comfortable sending the no contact message if you understand how it works…so lets break it down, OK? First, I will give an example of a very good no contact message to send, and then I will break down the 3 main components so you can better understand it and will not be afraid to use it…make sense?

A Good No Contact Message

Hi,

(Your first name here)

The First Punch

The first sentence has you “agreeing” with “their” decision to break up. This reminds them it was their idea to breakup. You’re wondering “How can that help me get my ex back?” Well it is just the beginning of the evolution and is only the first part of the message, this works like a combination punch that they will feel for a long time.

The Second Punch

You also confirm that it was the “best” decision for “both” of you, and now you have some big decisions to make. Do you see what just happened here? You went from the powerless begging machine into the well adjusted person who now has some “big” decisions to make.

“But how can I get my ex back if I lie to them?” Is that a lie about the “big” decisions? Well you have to decide whether to move on or not…right? I would call that a big decision but your ex won’t know that, and they will start wondering. This puts you back on their mind and has them thinking about you in a whole “new” light…get it?

The Knock Out Punch

Now after all that, you’re “telling” them to “not contact” you, and you”ll be in touch. Your ex will start thinking what does that mean? What will they say when they get back in touch with me? I bet you thought I was going to say “yourself” well it is sort of, but it really is this common human trait that tells us it is better to hold on and hope for the best, then it is to let go for the time being to try a different approach (no contact). You and your ex have broken up, and you want them back, right? What action have you taken so far? Here is an emotional check list that will help. It will hold a mirror up to your face, and ask you some serious questions about you, and your efforts to get my ex back.

1. If it has been more than a week since the break up, why have I waited so long to take any action to get back together with my ex?

I understand the initial shock would put you in a daze for a while, but the sooner you stop doing all the wrong things the better your chances are of succeeding…understand?

Should I Give Up On Getting My Ex Back?

You feel like you’ve done everything you can, and now you’re wondering if it’s truly over. Your friends, and family say it’s time to quit, but what about you? Is it time to move on and forget your ex? Should I give up on getting my ex back?

Things to Consider First

Before you throw in the towel and give up completely, you should ask yourself a couple questions. Number one are you doing this out of anger, or depression, or both? You never want to make any decisions when your mind is clouded, and your emotions are out of balance. I am sure you will live to regret those decisions.

Get your feelings straightened out before you send that fatal email that you are done with him/her, and never want to get back together again…understand? It is not going to make things easier for you when you come to your senses, and wish to take all that back. Do not give up on getting my ex back until you have had enough time to release your feelings of anger, or hopelessness.

If you asked Abe Lincoln when he should’ve given up on being president, he would have told you never, and it paid off for him, right?
